An IOP a Short Drive from Arcadia, Biltmore, and Camelback East
Redefine Wellness & Treatment runs an adults-only Intensive Outpatient Program in Scottsdale, three days a week and 9 to 12 hours in total, a short drive from Arcadia and the Biltmore-Camelback Corridor. You keep your work week. Sessions like neurofeedback sit in the same schedule as your therapy, and more than 20 clinical and integrative modalities are on the table, matched to what you need rather than a fixed track.
-
Close to the Corridor, Outside It. The center sits in Scottsdale, away from the corridor itself. You get treatment near home without running into it at the office or the school pickup line.
-
Therapies Run Together. Your therapist and your psychiatric provider work the same week, with neurofeedback alongside. The mix changes as you respond, and nothing waits its turn.
-
A Step Below Day Treatment. If three days a week is not enough structure, the step up is our Partial Hospitalization Program, five days a week at the same center.
Redefine treats adults only. The right level of care depends on you, and our team helps you find it.

Levels of Care for Arcadia and Biltmore Professionals
The IOP, Three Days a Week
This is the level most people from Arcadia and Biltmore are looking for. You attend three days a week, 9 to 12 hours in total, inside regular weekday hours. The rest stays yours. Your therapy and your group work run as one coordinated plan, and your clinical team adjusts the mix as you respond to it. The commute from the corridor happens three times a week, not five.
When Day Treatment Is the Right Call
Some weeks need more than three days of support, and pretending otherwise wastes time. Redefine's Partial Hospitalization Program runs five days a week, 25 to 30 hours weekly at five to six hours a day, over four to eight weeks. You are home every evening. It is the structured option for someone whose symptoms have outpaced an outpatient schedule, and many clients step down from it into the three-day program once the ground feels steady.
Private Retreats and Intensives
For some people, a weekly program is not the entry point. Redefine also runs private retreats and intensives as individual tracks: Deep Dive, Professionals Reset, Wellness, New Beginnings, and Intensive Trauma. Each is built around one person. There is no group calendar. Format and fit are settled in a conversation with our team, so the starting point is a phone call rather than a brochure.

How Does IOP Work for Arcadia Professionals?
Call and Talk It Through
One call starts it. You talk with the Redefine team about what is going on, what your weeks look like, and whether this level of care fits. Benefit and cost questions are handled on the same call, so nothing is left vague.
Come In for an Assessment
You meet the clinical team at the Scottsdale center for a full assessment. This is where the program stops being generic. Your history, your presentation, and your schedule all shape what comes next.
Your Plan Is Built Around You
Redefine does not move people through fixed stages. Your therapist and your psychiatric provider work the same weeks, with modalities like neurofeedback and somatic work running alongside your therapy rather than after it. The mix changes as you respond.
Three Days a Week, Around Your Work
You attend three days a week, 9 to 12 hours in total, inside regular weekday hours. The other days stay yours. Many clients drive in from the Camelback corridor and keep their job running the whole time, which is exactly what this level of care is built for.
An IOP is one level of care, not the only one. Some people need the structure of day treatment first. Others do well with less. Redefine's team tells you which fits, even when the answer is not this program.
- Conditions We Treat
What Can an Intensive Outpatient Program Help With?
Conditions We Treat in the IOP
- Anxiety, including the high-functioning kind that hides inside a demanding job
- Depression you have been carrying through work for months or years
- Burnout and chronic stress that time off did not fix
- Trauma that has resurfaced mid-career, old or recent
- PTSD, including single-incident and complex presentations
- Grief that has stayed heavy long after the loss
- Emotional dysregulation that strains both work and home
- Substance use alongside a mental health condition, treated together
How It Often Feels Before People Call
- Weekly therapy is helping, but one hour a week is not holding the rest of the week together
- You are still performing at work, and it costs more effort every month to keep that true
- Sleep or focus has slid, and it is not coming back on its own
- A drink or another habit has quietly become the way you switch off at night
- People close to you have started saying, carefully, that they are worried
- Getting through the day runs on workarounds nobody at the office can see
- You have thought about stepping away from work entirely, and you would rather not have to
- You want structured help that does not mean leaving your job, your home, or Phoenix

What the Program Looks Like Week to Week
This is a sample rhythm, not a fixed schedule. Redefine runs the IOP three days a week, 9 to 12 hours in total, and your clinical team chooses which modalities fill those hours. The mix changes as you respond. Which three days you attend is set with the team when you enroll.
Real Connection, Support, & Healing
Our Scottsdale outpatient programs combine innovative neuroscience with proven therapeutic approaches.
The Modalities Behind Your Three Days
The IOP is built from more than 20 clinical and integrative modalities, and your clinical team picks the combination that fits your presentation rather than a preset checklist. Neurofeedback and EXOMIND are the two Redefine currently emphasizes, with neurofeedback used to help clients stabilize faster. Body-based and somatic work runs alongside the talk therapy. All of it fits the same three days.
Every modality listed here can sit inside an Arcadia client's week. Your team decides the mix, then adjusts it as treatment moves.

What the Evidence Says About Intensive Outpatient Care
What the Research Shows
Reviewed August 2026An estimated 59.3 million U.S. adults lived with a mental illness in 2022, 23.1% of all adults, per the National Institute of Mental Health. More than one in five. Needing structured help is common, including in high-performing zip codes.
An intensive outpatient program provides a minimum of nine hours of structured service per week, a published review in Psychiatric Services reports. Redefine runs the level at 9 to 12 hours across three days, squarely inside that standard.
"IOPs are as effective as inpatient treatment for most individuals seeking care," the review concluded after comparing outcomes across the two levels. That describes the level of care, not any one person's course. Individual results vary.
The same review places intensive outpatient care between weekly therapy and residential treatment: more support than an hour a week, without leaving home or work. That middle is where many working adults in Arcadia and Biltmore need care to sit.
Redefine runs the level three days a week, 9 to 12 hours in total, at a Joint Commission accredited center in Scottsdale. The structure sits inside the published definition. The modality mix inside it is chosen per person, not per protocol.
