Eric Burns is a social work resident currently pursuing his Master of Social Work at Arizona State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Emmanuel College in Boston and previously built a career in marketing and communications across New York City’s corporate and startup environments, experience that informs his understanding of career stress, identity development, and life transitions.

At Redefine Wellness & Treatment, Eric supports clients through case management and group facilitation, with experience leading DBT and mindfulness-based groups that foster emotional regulation, self-awareness, and practical skill building. He enjoys working with adults and professionals navigating identity exploration, relational challenges, and periods of personal change, and he brings a warm, collaborative, and client-centered presence to his clinical work.

Eric is passionate about culturally responsive care and strives to create an affirming space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their growth. He views therapy as a process grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and connection, and he looks forward to continuing his clinical development as he begins his career in social work.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys cooking, traveling, caring for his growing plant collection, and spending time outdoors. Originally from the East Coast, he relocated to Arizona in search of sunshine and new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
