Redefining Mental Wellness, Restoring Lives
Mood disorders are treatable, but finding the right approach makes all the difference. Too often, care stops at medication without addressing the patterns, triggers, and nervous system dysregulation underneath.
At Redefine, we treat mood disorders at the neurological and physiological level, combining neurofeedback, evidence-based therapy, and somatic modalities into one integrated program.
Our outpatient structure gives you intensive clinical support while you stay connected to your life, your work, and your family.
- How We Treat Mood Related Disorders
A Systematic Approach to Mood Disorders That Works
Mood disorder treatment has evolved. Our program combines evidence-based therapy, advanced neurotechnology, and somatic care. For people who want more than medication alone.
Build Skills That Create Stability
Mood disorders thrive on reactivity. The swings feel automatic, like you have no say in where your emotions take you. These therapies help you recognize early warning signs, understand your triggers, and build skills that keep you grounded when things start to shift. You'll develop tools to manage both the highs and the lows, so you're not just surviving episodes but preventing them.
Regulate the Brain Directly
Bipolar and mood disorders often have a neurological signature. Your brain gets locked into patterns of dysregulation that medication alone can't always correct. These modalities work directly with your nervous system to promote stability at the source. Using real-time feedback, we help train your brain toward a more balanced baseline, reducing the intensity and frequency of mood episodes over time.
Ground Your Body, Steady Your Mind
Mood instability doesn't just live in your head. It shows up as restlessness, agitation, or a body that can't settle. These modalities help you develop a deeper connection to your physical state, so you can notice shifts earlier and regulate before things escalate. They work alongside clinical treatment to build a foundation of calm that supports everything else you're working on.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Know if I Need Treatment?
Will my insurance cover this?
We work with most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, GEHA, and others. Coverage varies by plan, so we verify your benefits before you start and walk you through what to expect. If you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll check for you.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on what you’re working through, but most clients are in our program for four to eight weeks. Some need more time, some need less. We don’t rush the process, and we don’t keep you longer than you need. Your treatment plan is built around your progress, not a fixed timeline.
Can I Keep Working while in treatment?
What happens when I call?
You’ll speak with someone from our admissions team. No pressure, no scripts. We’ll ask a few questions about what you’re experiencing, answer anything you want to know, and walk you through next steps if it feels like a fit. Most people are relieved to find out how simple it is to start.
