Redefining Mental Wellness, Restoring Lives
Trauma and PTSD are highly treatable. The problem isn’t a lack of options. It’s finding care that goes beyond talk therapy.
At Redefine, we treat trauma at the neurological and physiological level, combining neurofeedback, evidence-based therapy, and somatic modalities into one integrated program. Our outpatient structure gives you intensive clinical support while you stay connected to your life, your work, and your family.
Whether you’re looking for outpatient or a more intensive level of support, we can help you find the right care path for you.
- How We Treat Trauma
A Systematic Approach to
Trauma & PTSD That Works
Trauma treatment has evolved. Our program combines trauma-focused therapy, brain-based technology, and somatic care to treat PTSD where it actually lives: in the nervous system.
Process What's Been Stuck
Trauma gets stored in ways that don't respond to logic. You can understand what happened and still feel hijacked by it. These therapies help you safely revisit and process traumatic experiences so they lose their grip. You'll work with clinicians trained in trauma-specific modalities who know how to pace the work so you don't get overwhelmed. The goal is integration, not re-traumatization.
Calm the Nervous System at the Root
Trauma keeps your nervous system stuck in high alert. Your brain learns to scan for danger even when you're safe. These modalities work directly with your brain and body to down-regulate the stress response and restore a sense of safety. Using real-time feedback, we help retrain the patterns that keep you in survival mode, so you can start to feel settled again.
Release What the Body Holds
Trauma lives in the body. The tension, the startle response, the feeling of being braced for impact. These modalities help you safely discharge the survival energy that's been trapped in your system. You'll learn to reconnect with your body as a source of information and safety, not just a place where pain gets stored. This work supports everything else and helps the healing last.
- The Experience
Why Choose Redefine?
Holistic by Design
At Redefine, everything works together simultaneously. Nervous system regulation, cognitive restructuring, and somatic release. It's not linear steps. It's all happening at once, supporting each other.
A Team Behind You
Your care isn't siloed. Psychiatrists, therapists, and specialists coordinate weekly. We work from shared plans and make adjustments as you progress, not just when something goes wrong.
Curated Treatment
No two people get the same program. With a wide range of evidence-based and innovative therapies, we build your treatment around what actually works for your brain, body, and history.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Know if I Need Treatment?
If your condition is affecting your sleep, your work, your relationships, or your ability to be present, it’s worth exploring treatment. Many of our clients functioned fine on the outside for years before realizing how much energy they were spending just getting through the day. Treatment isn’t about being “sick enough.” It’s about not wanting to live like this anymore.
Will my insurance cover this?
We work with most major insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, GEHA, and others. Coverage varies by plan, so we verify your benefits before you start and walk you through what to expect. If you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll check for you.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on what you’re working through, but most clients are in our program for four to eight weeks. Some need more time, some need less. We don’t rush the process, and we don’t keep you longer than you need. Your treatment plan is built around your progress, not a fixed timeline.
Can I Keep Working while in treatment?
What happens when I call?
You’ll speak with someone from our admissions team. No pressure, no scripts. We’ll ask a few questions about what you’re experiencing, answer anything you want to know, and walk you through next steps if it feels like a fit. Most people are relieved to find out how simple it is to start.
